Day 1 of my Blog

OK...so now I enter into another chapter of my life's walk with technology, taking my plunge into the world of Blogs, and creating a method for communicating with "my" world, allowing family and friends to catch up with me and all that I choose to share with them. I will start soon to publish thoughts and pictures, and certainly use this technology while I travel to Africa in less than two weeks.

I look forward to reading all that you choose to share about your trip and your corner of the world.

Hey - I'm getting legit I guess, absolutely warming up to the world of blogs, having wandered for years through the deserts of websites !

This is just a lazy way to avoid sending emails to individuals in your life as you travel. You're just cloaking sloth in the fabric of zeros and ones. =)

I must respectfully disagree, Gabby, with your assesment of our friend's objective here....in fact, this endeavor requires infinitely more creativity than simple e-mails. I do, however, hope to incorporate the phrase "cloaking sloth" into my vocabulary at some time in the future!!!
